We’re Moving!
Big news for Ekklesia.
God has been incredibly faithful.
Ekklesia began in 2022 with five families gathered in our living room. From there, we moved to a midweek Bible study and worship gathering.
On October 9, 2022, we officially launched our first Sunday service, renting space from United House of Worship. For the last three years we’ve met every week in the afternoon (first at 6pm, later at 3pm).
They have been incredibly gracious partners in ministry, and we are deeply grateful for their generosity.
But we always knew it wouldn’t be our forever home.
What God Has Done
Over the past three years we’ve seen God move in powerful ways:
Hundreds of people from the community have come through our gatherings and outreaches
Numerous salvations and people coming to faith in Christ
34 baptisms
Community outreaches
Evangelism conferences
Women’s conferences
Prayer and worship nights
It has been an incredible season of ministry.
A New Door
As we’ve been seeking the Lord for a place to call home, He has opened a new door for us.
Starting April 5, 2026, Ekklesia will begin holding our weekly worship gatherings at Millbrook Church:
3620 N Millbrook Ave. Fresno CA
(on Millbrook—between Dakota & Shields)
This campus is currently shared by multiple churches, and that spirit of partnership is something we deeply value.
We are moving in as renters, trusting the Lord that this may become a long-term home where we can continue the mission He has given us.
Why This Matters
The church is people, not a building. But buildings are tools the church uses for the glory of Christ.
This space gives us opportunities we’ve been praying for:
Room to serve the community
A fellowship hall where we can share meals together
Space for a future food pantry
Classrooms for ministry and community programs
A sanctuary that can serve multiple churches throughout the week
This location helps us continue pursuing our vision:
To reach Fresno with the Gospel, to serve our community, and to partner with other churches and faith-based organizations for the mission of Christ.
Join Us
Our regular Sunday gathering will now be: Sundays at 1:30 PM
And our first service will be Easter Sunday, where we’ll host an outdoor service and community Easter outreach to introduce ourselves to the neighborhood.
We would love for you to pray for us, visit us, and be part of what God is doing through Ekklesia.
The story is still being written.
