A 90-Day
Discipleship Challenge
“If anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of me will save it.”
Jesus (Luke 9:23-24)
“…if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.”
Romans 8:13
“For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”
Colossians 3:3
Too many believers are stuck. Stuck in cycles of sin. Stuck in shallow faith. Stuck in church attendance without transformation. For those of us who need radical life change—“just come to church and try to read your Bible” isn’t enough. You know you need a clear plan, daily structure, and real accountability.
But here’s the truth:
You’re not stuck. You just need to die.
Not a physical death—but a death to your flesh. To your pride. To your comfort, your vices, your excuses. Jesus didn’t call us to clean up our act—He called us to crucify it. To deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and lose our lives in order to truly find them.
What Is 90 Days to Die?
90 Days to Die is a discipleship bootcamp for anyone ready to stop playing games and start growing in Christ.
It’s not about earning God’s favor—it’s a response to His grace. You can’t work your way to salvation. You don’t get holy points for being disciplined. Jesus saves.
But if you're tired of spiritual apathy... If you're ready to walk in freedom, power, and purpose... If you want the life Jesus promised—life more abundantly—then this is your next step.
Over the course of 90 days, you’ll walk through 10 intentional disciplines—anchored in the Gospel and fueled by grace. You’ll build spiritual habits. You’ll walk with brothers. You’ll crucify the flesh. And you’ll grow in the fruit of the Spirit—especially self-control.
You’ll have a clear framework, a daily rhythm, a partner who checks in, and tools for the journey. There’s no quick fix. No magic switch. Just a daily decision to die to your old self—and walk in the new life Christ offers.
The 10 Disciplines
Daily
-
Wake up early to spend intentional, silent time with God every day. No distractions. Just you and Him. This is where your soul breathes, your spirit listens, and your heart resets.
-
Bookend your days with prayer—morning and evening. Use prompts if needed (provided in the program). This is how you stay aligned, surrendered, and aware of God’s presence.
-
Read one chapter a day. Journal using SOAP (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer). This is not about speed-reading—it’s about formation, not information.
-
Move your body. At least 15 minutes a day. Discipline in the physical helps cultivate discipline in the spiritual. Rule over your body—don’t be ruled by it.
Weekly
-
Take one day each week to rest from work, disconnect from hustle, and reconnect with God. You were not created to run nonstop. Sabbath is resistance against burnout and a declaration that God is in control.
-
Real growth happens in relationship. There are no lone rangers in God’s Kingdom. Attend Sunday worship at your local church and connect midweek with someone or a group from your church family.
-
Practice regular self-denial:
Fast at least one meal per week
Fast media/gaming/social media one full week per month
90-day “starve out” fast for anything you already know is holding you (nicotine, alcohol, etc.). During the intensive, no alcohol or substance abuse. Period.
Monthly
-
Tithe 10% of your income to your local church. Let your heart follow your treasure. Generosity loosens greed’s grip and grows your trust in God.
-
Don’t just show up to church—serve. Plug into a ministry at your church and use your gifts or ability for the good of others. Growth comes through giving, not just receiving.
-
Intentionally share Jesus with others—both in word and action. Aim to have at least one Christ-centered conversation, and look for ways to serve or volunteer in your community that point people to Him. You don’t need to be a preacher—just be obedient.
-
Start with a Partner
Don’t do this alone. Link up with at least one accountability partner—or better yet, a group. You’ll check in daily. Even a simple “praying for you” text keeps you connected and on track.Set Your Dates
Pick your start and end dates. Don’t overthink it—start now. And remember: Day 90 isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of a new way of life in Christ.Post the 10 Disciplines
Write them down. Print them out. Stick them where you’ll see them—mirror, fridge, dashboard, wherever. This isn’t a checklist to earn God’s love. It’s a daily reminder of your commitment to grow.Make It Public
Tell people. Post it. Share it with friends or on social media. Let others know you're committing to this. That public declaration creates a social contract—it strengthens resolve and invites encouragement and accountability.Know the Rhythm
Some disciplines are daily. Some are weekly. Some monthly. Pace yourself. Track them. Build consistency.Use the Resources
We’ve created tools to help—journals, prompts, workout guides, study templates. Use them. They’re not required, but they’ll make your journey smoother.Be Honest. Be Real. Be Accountable.
We can’t hold you accountable to a version of you we’ve never met. Don’t fake it. If you’re struggling—say it. This only works if you’re honest and willing to grow.Fail Forward
You may mess up. That’s not the end. Repent, reset, and refocus. One bad day doesn’t have to ruin the 90. Don’t quit or hide. We’re aiming for progress, not perfection. God’s grace is bigger than your failure.
-
1. No Complaining. Negativity kills momentum. Guard your mouth. Guard your mind.
2. No Excuses. Own your failures. Confess. Repent. Do better. Excuses keep you stuck.
3. No Condemnation. You will fall. Don’t stay down. Receive grace. Get back up and keep going.
4. No Hiding. Be honest. Be real. Don’t wait to be asked—offer it up.
5. No Enablers. Cut off bad influences. If they hold you back or fuel your flesh, they have to go. This is life or death.
“Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
1 Corinthians 15
“How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers!”
Psalm 1:1
“…if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.”
Matthew 5:30
